Five companies in the tender for trams for Krakow29 March 2010Five Polish and foreign companies have been selected for the second stage of the tender for the purchase of 24 modern low-floor trams for Krakow. The project is co-financed by EU funds and will cost approximately 210 million PLN net. The company names are: Polish Solaris, Pesa Bydgoszcz, Caf (Spain), Alstom (France) and Bombardier (Canada). The vice president of the Municipal Transport Enterprise in Krakow (MPK): Zbigniew Palenica, said that "each of these companies has until the end of February to send their technical bids along with the price". |
